The verdict
Choose Arcane when a mature dedicated leveling product, reaction XP, custom rank images, or goal counters matter most.
Choose Guardy when free voice XP, staged MEE6 migration, and a broader path from onboarding through moderation are the deciding factors. Guardy is an operations-focused choice, while Arcane specializes in several pure-leveling areas.
Free leveling: different strengths
Arcane’s official matrix lists message XP and reaction XP on Free. It includes 15 reward roles, one per level, weekly leaderboards, one autorole, 10 reaction roles, five custom commands, and one hour of message logs. Premium adds voice XP, custom XP values, unlimited reward roles, monthly leaderboards, more commands and roles, custom rank images, and custom bot identity.
Guardy Free includes message and eligible voice XP, 15 reward roles, 10 XP multipliers, all-time, weekly, and monthly leaderboards, and personal rank-card background and color controls.
The free reward count is now a tie at 15. Arcane offers reaction XP and custom rank imagery; Guardy offers free voice XP and monthly leaderboards.
Guardy’s migration boundary is the main difference
Guardy has source-specific import profiles for MEE6, Lurkr, Polaris, Amari, and CSV. The direct MEE6 path or JSON fallback is staged completely, checked against the familiar curve, and shown to an administrator before a transactional apply.
The current Arcane documentation checked for this page explains XP options, curves, management, role rewards, and Premium limits. It does not advertise an equivalent staged import. That statement is limited to those official pages and does not claim Arcane has no support path outside its docs.
Arcane offers more leveling variety
Arcane documents message XP, reaction XP, and paid voice XP. It also offers linear, exponential, and flat curve choices, custom XP ranges on Premium, first-place roles, booster settings, counters, and custom rank images.
Guardy focuses on a familiar MEE6-compatible curve, message and voice participation, transparent cooldowns and multipliers, stack-all or highest-only reward behavior, windowed leaderboards, and portable history.
Choose Arcane if changing the curve and rewarding reactions is the product. Choose Guardy if keeping the familiar curve during a switch is the product.
What exists beyond leveling
Arcane’s current docs include moderation, logging, a welcomer, role management, counters, custom commands, and YouTube notifications. It is not only a rank bot.
Guardy connects welcome messages, auto roles, role menus, polls, giveaways, custom slash commands, AutoMod, manual moderation, numbered cases, escalation, reversals, a join gate, anti-nuke thresholds, panic mode, and raid cleanup.
Guardy does not market social feeds, counters, custom bot identity, or reaction XP. Arcane should win when those features matter more than migration and connected safety.
