Their birthday. Their choice.
Members add their own birthday in Discord, and can change their mind whenever they like.
- /birthday set asks for a month and day. Members can choose a timezone or use your server’s default.
- /birthday view shows their saved date, and /birthday remove opts them out of this server’s celebrations.
- Command replies are private. Guardy stores the month and day, never a birth year or age. The birthday greeting is shared in your chosen channel.

02Celebrate

- Choose a celebration channel and time in the dashboard, then turn Birthdays on. The time follows each member’s saved timezone.
- Add an optional cosmetic birthday role to mark the occasion. Guardy takes it off at the next midnight in the member’s timezone.
- Birthdays is free on every plan, including the birthday role. It starts off until you are ready to invite members to join in.

01How do I set up birthdays in my Discord server?
Open Birthdays in the Guardy dashboard, choose a celebration channel and time, and turn the module on. Then invite members to use /birthday set. You can also choose a cosmetic birthday role.
02Do members have to share their birth year?
No. Members enter only their month and day, with an optional timezone. Guardy does not collect their birth year or age. Their command replies are private; the celebration is a greeting mentioning them in your chosen channel.
03Can members remove their birthday?
Yes. /birthday remove removes their date from this server. Members can still view or remove their birthday when the module is off. A birthday role already given comes off at the end of the day.
04Are birthday messages and roles free?
Yes. Birthdays is free on every plan, including member timezones, the celebration channel and time, and the optional role that ends at local midnight.
