Temp Voice · free on every plan
Join to create. A voice room for every member.
Members join one "Join to create" channel and Guardy makes them their own voice room, moves them in and hands them the controls. When the last person leaves, the room is deleted.
- A room for everyone
- Join once, get your own voice room
- Owners hold the keys
- Rename, lock, hide, limit or kick with buttons
- Cleans up after itself
- Empty rooms are deleted
01Join to create
Join once, get your own room
Joining the hub channel creates a voice room and moves the member straight in.
- The room is named from your template, such as {username}’s room, so everyone can see whose it is.
- If a member already has a room, Guardy moves them back to it instead of making a second one.
- When the last person leaves, Guardy deletes the room. Your channel list only shows rooms people are using.

02Room controls
The owner runs the room from buttons
The control panel in the room’s chat answers with private replies only the presser sees.
- Rename the room, or set a member limit from 0 to 99, where 0 means no limit. Discord allows two renames per channel every 10 minutes, so Guardy tells you when you can rename again.
- Lock the room so nobody new can join, while people already inside can stay and rejoin. Hide it from the channel list the same way.
- Kick disconnects someone and stops them rejoining this room. Transfer hands the room over, and if the owner leaves, anyone still in the room can Claim it.
Example private replies to Lock, Limit, Kick and a third rename.
03Hub settings
Each hub has its own settings
Set up a hub on the dashboard in a few clicks, then tune it any time.
- Room name: a template with {username}, which becomes the member’s name.
- Member limit: the limit each new room starts with, from 0 to 99.
- Where rooms go: the hub’s own category, or another category you pick.

Temp Voice questions
Quick answers.
What owners ask before they turn on Temp Voice.
01How do temporary voice channels work?
A member joins your "Join to create" hub channel. Guardy creates a voice room for them, moves them in and posts a control panel in the room’s chat. When the last person leaves, the room is deleted.
02Who can use the room controls?
The room owner, plus anyone with Manage Channels. Claim is the exception: once the owner has left, anyone still in the room can claim it.
03Why can I not rename my room right now?
Discord allows two renames per channel every 10 minutes. When you hit that limit, Guardy tells you when you can rename again.
04What permissions does Guardy need?
View Channel, Connect, Move Members and Manage Channels, so it can see the hub, create rooms, move members in and delete rooms when they empty.
05Is Temp Voice free?
Yes. Free includes one hub and Premium includes up to 10. Rooms are not counted against your plan; for safety, a server can have up to 50 rooms open at once. Temp Voice starts off: turn it on and add a hub on the dashboard.
